DEAN KELLY

President
Founded Carpet Baggers Floorcoverings in 1992. He has led the company through the years as its President. Dean lives in Folly Beach with his wife LouAnn of 23 years and 3 girls. He is an active youth Sunday School teacher, Deacon at James Island Baptist Church. He also has served as the Head JV Girls Softball and Assistant Varsity Girls Softball Coach at James Island Charter High School. In addition, Dean is currently serving as President for the 2011 term for the EAGC (Executive Association of Greater Charleston) where he has been a member since 2000.  His hobbies include fishing, softball, baseball, and following the Gamecocks!

STEVE LEASURE

Vice President
Stevie has been a part of the Carpet Baggers family since July of 1995. He lives on James Island with his wife Denise and 3 girls. His hobbies are outdoor sports - fishing and hunting but also enjoy spending time with his family. He is a member and a former board member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. He is also a board member for the South Carolina Memorial Reef, South Carolina Saltwater Sportfishing Assoc, Fifty-fifty Fishing Tournament, South Carolina's Governors Cup, and the James Island Yacht Club.

JENNY PARISH

A/P and Purchasing
Jenny has been working for Carpet Baggers since July 2006. She graduated from Charleston Southern in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.  She is proud to be from James Island is excited about getting married this November. She enjoys visiting the mountains in the fall/winter and beaching and boating in the summer/spring with her fiance Michael.  Go Gamecocks!

PATTI TROY

A/R and Scheduling
Patti has been in floorcovering just a short while but has been involved in the home building industry. She lives in Summerville with her daughters, who currently attend College of Charleston. She has volunteered for Seacoast Church and Summerville Medical Center. She enjoys cheering for West Virginia. Go Mountaineers!

COLIN KELLY

Warehouse and Materials Manager
Colin served in the trucking Industry for more than 30 years before moving to Charleston and partnering with the Carpet Baggers Team more than 14 years ago. Colin has also owned his own business, providing shipping pallets to many companies in the Greenville-Spartanburg area before his move to Charleston. Colin is a member and greeter at Citadel Square Baptist Church. He enjoys garage shopping and selling with his wife Brenda of more than 48 years. Colin is the father of Dean Kelly. You can find him downtown watching the Cougars play basketball or pulling for the Mighty Coach K led Blue Devils in some of his spare time.

GREG SMALLS

Warehouse
Greg is pretty much the man in charge of giving our jobs that beautiful “finishing touch!” Greg hand sands and finishes, or paints most of our stair parts and trim. In addition he works “magic” on furniture and other items. He is a detailed man! Greg also works 2 other jobs. In his free time Greg enjoys just hanging with his rather large family!

 KARL SMALLS

Warehouse
Chief Delivery Driver! Karl is the one who delivers most of the products to the job sites and does most all of the pickups around town. Karl maintains our grounds on the inside and out! He is affectionately known as “Cosmo” and always has the best lunches of any of the Carpet Baggers! You can find Karl watching the NFL and routing for his Dallas Cowboys!! He loves Romo!

KIM HOOD

Sales
Kim is originally from Spartanburg, SC but moved to Charleston in 1997 to go to College of Charleston. She graduated in 2001 with a BA in communication. She currently lives in Beaufort, SC with her husband Hugh and Shih Tzu Lexi. She is enjoys being an aunt to her 4 nieces & nephew. She plays softball, loves tropical vacations, & visiting the Lowcountry area beaches. She enjoys working with customers to help make their home remodel dreams a reality. If you want a total bathroom remodel she can help you design, plan and execute the project.

SEAN FORBES

Sales
Sean has been working with floorcovering for 17years. He is an avid sports fan and supports Georgia Bulldogs. He lives in Hanahan with his wife Susan and 2 children. He also supports the Hanahan athletics by coaching. He is a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.

JIM MAHAFFEY

Sales
Jim has been working with floorcovering for a total of 18 years (installing for 15yrs and 3yrs in sales)  He has been with Carpet Baggers for 17 of those years. Jim lives in Moncks Corner with his wife and 2 girls. When he is not watching the Saints or NASCAR, he is enjoying the mountains.

GLENN ORR

Sales
Glenn has been working in the flooring business for 37 years. He lives on Yonges Island with his wife Michele and 2 girls. He has recently filled in for Santa at the Meggetts Town Hall. He can be found watching his daughter play sports for First Baptist or cheering for Braves (who else is there) or Gamecocks (always the underdog). He is a member of Ashley River Baptist. Glenn enjoys high performance cars. HOT RODS.

SCOTT ROBERTS

Sales
Scott has been involved in the floorcovering industry for 17yrs. He enjoys working with all types of flooring. He currently resides in Mt Pleasant with his wife Jill and 2 children. Outside interest include fishing, soccer, running and following The Citadel/Clemson athletics.

DANNY SCOTT

Sales
Danny has been working in the floor covering business for 35years. Danny lives in Charleston with his wife Linda. He graduated from Clemson followed by his daughter and son. Go Tigers!!. He also is a member of Grace United Methodist Church. In his spare time he dreams of visiting Abaco Bahamas or watching NCIS.

NANCY WITT

Sales
Nancy is the newest member of our team.  She has been in the floorcovering business for 14 years and specializes in new construction and remodeling design.  She has a BA degree from Columbia College and lives in West Ashley with her 2 kids.  She is an avid Gamecock fan and loves to organize parties.
